3 simple ways to recharge
Sometimes life just gets a lil hectic. We all know what we should be doing which sometimes looks significantly different to what we are doing. Ha! Well, that's just part of life hey.
Here's our top three simple things to do to recharge.
Breathe. Use an app or find a quiet place to sit for a few minutes. Take a few deep breaths - a long breath in, a long breath out. We love using the Calm app for this. Some smart watches have a function to periodically remind you to take a minute to focus your breathing.
Sleep. We know it's stating the obvious. Get enough sleep for body to recharge. Some of need 6 hours, some of us need 7, I need about 8.5 hours. I know, a lot! This is a massive topic - getting enough sleep, getting good quality sleep, things that prevent good quality sleep...so on. We will look at this another day.
Leisure time. Recreation, sports, arts and outdoor activities are great for our mental health and wellbeing. Even an hour a day will do wonders.
