Quarantine fatigue and how to best manage it

Updated: Sep 10

Many in the community are starting to feel or have been feeling fatigued of late. There are various reasons for this. People are experiencing so much uncertainty at the moment, and many are feeling anxious about it.⠀

So, how do we best manage this fatigue?

  1. Routine. Yes. Stick to that new'ish routine we established a few months ago.⠀

  2. Move. Yay! Your gym may have opened last week so it's critical to keep (or start) being active. An inactive lifestyle can contribute to not sleeping properly at night which then means fatigue during the day. Incorporate some exercise into your routine. If you're unable to get to a gym, there are stacks of free online classes out available to do at home. ⠀

  3. Eat well. We know the drill on this one. Also, maybe skip that mid-week.⠀

  4. Be kind to ourselves and others. We are not alone in this. ⠀
